turns me to gold in the sunlight

Hello beautiful people! Hope everyones is enjoying their last days of summer... If you live in England, I hope you've had the chance to go on holiday ;)

My lovely mother is knitting me this jumper (photograph from fashiontoast). Not gonna lie, I'm not feeling creative these days, hence I convinced my mum to knit a replica of Rumi Neely's jumper.

Did some Aztec nails, tutorial here.
She also bought this knitting book from Japan... £19 for the book and £30 for shipping.
Just some great finds at the local market, no idea what I'll be making from either fabric yet.

And some more clothes I bought. Clearly I'm not preparing for winter well.

And oh, this made my life...

But to balance things, here's some salad.

swam to the bottom of the ocean

Hello lovelies! I've been so busy, but thank you all for the comments, I'll get back to you when I get the chance!
I dug up these old jeans of mine and since they had a an unflattering flare-cut, i made them into short shorts :)
New camera soon, so at least my outfit posts will get slightly better in that respect!

Bought this fur blanket and cushions. They make my bed like a cloud!

Frappuccino

This post is dedicated to the fashion industry's obsession with Starbucks.
Starbucks = expensive, so this is my take on a frappuccino. Also, the fat content is far lower than in the genuine Starbucks product.

For one glass (as featured) you will need:
Blender + Whisk

2-3 ice cubes (crushed)
2 slightly heaped tea spoons of cocoa powder (already sweetened)
1 spoon of caramel
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup boiled water

Optional ingredients:
Whipped cream/whipping cream
Chocolate sauce
For a cinnamon flavoured frappuccino - a pinch of cinnamon

First of all put the 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder (and a pinch of cinnamon if you've chosen to use it) into a mug and pour 1/4 cup of boiling water in. Mix and add the spoon of caramel so that it melts. Stir, add the 1/4 cup of milk and stir and place in the fridge to cool.
Crush the ice in a blender. Mine looks like snow because I left the ice in a warm room for too long. It would be optimal to crush the ice that's been taken straight out of the freezer. Also, make sure your blender is ok to crush ice.
Pour in the contents of the mug that's been taken from the fridge.

 Blend everything.
 Pour into a glass.
Serve with whipped cream if you like. You can add the chocolate sauce at this point.
Alternatively, you could also dust with some cocoa powder (+ cinnamon) instead.
Drink up and enjoy :)
